Located upstairs at The Gatehouse, the Cellar Door with it's large deck and views that extend up the valley and the soon to be sculpture garden and putting range is a wonderful place to visit for a lazy afternoon.
Our menu is simple and tasty. Gourmet pizzas, cheese and grazing platters, dips and a selection of sweet things Coffee, tea and a range of sweet things including Willabrand fine chocolate figs which are grown and made at Glen Ewin. Choose from over 20 wines to taste or buy it buy the glass or bottle. We have a few local beers as well.
Enjoy the company of your friends and family and while away an afternoon. Each Sunda one of the winemakers is in attendance for tastings and chats.
It is the perfect place for large or small groups to relax, chat, laugh and enjoy a lazy afternoon and only 25 minutes from the centre of Adelaide. Come and visit us you’ll be glad you discovered it.
All wine is available to purchase by the bottle, case or mixed case. We can arrange for your wine to be stored in ourtemperature controlled wine storage facility or for it to be delivered to your preferred destination. Unlike other cellar doors, there will always be something different to see, sniff and taste - week in, week out.Our menu is simple and delicious. Gourmet pizzas, cheese and grazing platters.
Cellar Door Private Functions
The Cellar Door is available to hire for private functions, accommodating up to 60-70 for a cocktail style party or up to 36 for an intimate sit down lunch or dinner.
Previous events have included; wine auctions, pizza and jazz afternoons, lazy Sunday Indian lunches, seasonal feasts, art exhibitions, theatrical events, wine and champagne tastings with food matching, cooking classes, book launches and more. Why not tailor your own day?

Mary Wauchope is an extremely talented painter and sculptor. We have chosen to showcase a selection of her artwork in the Cellar Door. All work is for sale and Mary is happy to take commissions. She is also our preferred florist for all events at Glen Ewin Estate.
